Toni said the construction of transportation facilities and infrastructure such as the Samarinda Seberang Terminal is very important to improve the comfort of land transportation users.
"The bus terminal does not only function as a place for passengers to ride and drop but also has other functions or mixed use, which is used as a modern terminal concept. So, it accommodates MSME activity centers, social activity centers and becomes integration between other modes," he explained.
In addition, he continued, it is also hoped that with the inauguration of the Seberang Samarinda Terminal, the terminal can be utilized optimally by the community and become a supporting facility for land transportation where East Kalimantan Province has been designated as the State Capital (IKN).
