Apriyani Rahayu Has Recovered, Ready To Fight In The French Open 2024

JAKARTA The women's doubles specialist, Apriyani Rahayu, has recovered from injury and is ready to fight in the French Open 2024 which will take place next week.

Apriyani previously appeared at the Indonesia Masters 2024 after suffering an injury at the end of last year. However, his condition has now improved and is ready to stage at the Super 750 BWF level event.

"The injury has improved. The more we get here, the better. So, since yesterday we have spoken with Fadia, coaches, and psychologists. There are many things that have been done, if it goes smoothly, it will be at the French Open," said Apri at the PBSI National Training Center, Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

The Apri delegation will leave for France on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, tomorrow to Chambly City. The city is located 40 kilometers north of Paris.

Chambly is a commuter in Oise's department which is planned to be a training camp for the Indonesian badminton team ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Apri mengatakan mereka tidak memiliki beban target apa pun menghadapi turnamen Jerenur Open 2024. Ia hanya berharap bisa cepat adaptasi dengan kondisi suhu di sana.

"Obviously we left without a burden and we brought (the results of) the exercises there too. I hope it can run smoothly. The important thing is the condition, it's really cold there. That's what we have to adapt," said Apri.

Apri/Fadia are one of two women's doubles that will appear in the French Open 2024 on March 5-10, 2024. One other women's doubles is the pair Meilysa Trias Puspitasari/Rachel Alllessya Rose.

At this event Apri/Fadia were not seeded. In the first round, their steps will be tested by the third seed from South Korea, Kim So Yeong/Kong Hee Yong.
