Ford Mustang 2024 Now Comes With A Choice Of Film Layer That Holds All Dirt

JAKARTA - Ford has just launched the manufacturer's first Matte Clear Film for Mustangs, a new personalization option that provides a touch of extra style and protection for cars.

The film has a charming satin effect on the Mustang, as well as protects it from various elements, such as hard detergents in car washers, salt on the road, bird droppings, insects, and asphalt residue.

Matte Clear Film is available for all Mustang coupe (EcoBoost, GT, and Dark Horse) models and can be applied to all paint colors offered by manufacturers. The first shipment is scheduled from June 2024 for the couple model, and the fourth quarter of 2024 for the convertible model.

"For 60 years, Mustangs have always been synonymous with self-driving freedom and expression," said Laurie Transou, Mustang Chief of Engineer Program, on the company's website, Tuesday, April 27.

"Matte Clear This film provides an interesting way for customers to make their Mustangs truly personal and reflect their characters," he added.

Developed With PPG, Matte Clear Film is designed to last a long time and be able to protect Mustang paint from various conditions.

The film is available to order from 27 February 2024, today, but the price is also not cheap at 5,995 US dollars equivalent to Rp93.8 million and is equipped with the same 3-year/36,000-mile warranty as all 2024 Mustangs.

But unfortunately, the Mustang Dark Horse if it is coated with Matte Clear Film will not be equipped with a standard Hood Accent Stripe or the Painted Racing Stripe option. The film is also not compatible with the GT California Special package or optional graphics packages on the EcoBoost and GT models.

For Dark Horse owners who want a more minimal look, graphics removal options are available as individual features, allowing them to personalize their Mustangs that are ready for the track.
