JCI Opened Weakening 0.26 Percent, 205 Shares Down

JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) at the opening of trading on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, weakened 18.81 points or 0.26 percent to 7,265.012 at 09.10 WIB this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at the level of 7,283.82 while the highest level of the JCI today is at the level of 7,283.82 and the lowest is at 7,255.12.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 2.94 billion, with a transaction value of Rp901.80 billion. There are 173 shares up, 205 shares down, and 228 low.

The LQ45 index weakened 0.35 percent, while Japan's Nikkei 225 index moved up 0.10 percent, Hang Seng Hong Kong fell 0.17 percent, China's Shanghai Composite rose 0.31 percent, while Singapore's Straits Times fell 0.44 percent.

As for those who entered the ranks of Top Gainers, namely PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) rose 25 or 2.69 percent to Rp955, PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) rose 50 or 1.96 percent to Rp2,600, PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) rose 75 or 1.43 percent to Rp5,325.

Meanwhile, shares that entered the top-loss ranks, namely, PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) fell 140 or 3.03 percent to Rp4,480, PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) shares fell 250 or 2.35 percent to Rp10,400, and PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) shares fell 25 or 1.65 percent to Rp1,490.

WH Project founder William Hartanto said, technically the JCI formed a hazard pattern in yesterday's trading which indicated the strong purchasing power of market players and managed to maintain the JCI above support of 7,275.

"Weakening is expected to be limited and there is a potential rebound in the near future. Today we project the JCI has the potential to move in a tendency to weaken, range 7,275 7,295," said William.
