92 TPS In Paniai Suara Susulan Imbas Burns Logistics 2024 Election
PAPUA - Head of Papua Police (Kapolda) Inspector General Pol. Mathius Fakhiri said 92 polling stations (TPS) in Paniai Regency, Central Papua, held a follow-up vote for the 2024 General Election, Monday 26 February.
According to Mathius, the follow-up was carried out because residents had burned logistics for the 2024 General Election in the area ahead of the vote on February 14.
As a result, voting at dozens of polling stations could not be carried out on schedule.
"Hopefully, the implementation of the follow-up vote will run safely, so that the calculation process can take place without obstacles," said Mathius in Papua, Monday, February 26, as reported by Antara.
Based on the reports received, the 92 polling stations were in four markets. In detail, 33 polling stations in Kebo District, 12 polling stations in Aweida District, 22 polling stations in Muye District, and 25 polling stations in Yagai District.
