Nidji Prepares This Year's New Album
JAKARTA - After releasing the Waste of Time single earlier this February, Nidji stated that he was preparing a new album which was planned to be released this year.
This album will be Nidji's debut album with new songs with different formations, namely Ubay (vocals), Andi (guitar), Rama (guitar), Andro (bass), Randy (keyboards), and Adri (drums).
Randy said Nidji's new album was inspired by their debut album in 2005, Breakthru. He said the album was the most liked by fans.
"After a long journey, it turned out that what made Breakthru at that time was very selling and liked by many people, it turned out that Breakthru was a story from each of Nidji's players," said Randy during a press conference in Kemang, South Jakarta, Thursday, February 22.
"The stories of these friends are being told into one, become a story, and that's what they turned out to be liked (fans)," he continued.
Each personnel participates in writing songs from their respective personal experiences, and that will be the new material on the upcoming album.
