The National Police Food Task Force Ensures 'Flood' Rice In Traditional And Modern Markets
The National Police's Food Task Force ensures that rice will 'flood' the traditional modern retail market in the next one to two days. This is because the Logistics Affairs Agency or Bulog has distributed thousands of tons of rice.
"Bulog has distributed nearly 13 tons of rice to modern retailers through food stations of 3 thousand tons, meaning that today's 1-2 will be flooded with rice in markets or in modern retail stores," said Head of the National Police Food Task Force Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan quoted Friday, February 23.
It was confirmed that the availability of rice for the community was after the National Police's Food Task Force held a surprise inspection at Bulog Warehouse, North Jakarta, Thursday, February 22.
In addition, it is said that rice prices will also decline in the near future. This is because the availability in the market has started to return to normal.
"So for the Food Task Force, not only in Jakarta, we also monitor and monitor all rice activities throughout Indonesia. This is hampered by distribution, because yesterday it rained there were several flooded places," said Whisnu.
"So the distribution of rice is a bit hampered. But my friends and I from Bulog are sure that in the next one or two days, even next week, rice will definitely go down," he continued.

Not only for the next one to two days, availability and price of rice will certainly return to normal during the holy month of Ramadan in March 2024. This is because imported rice supplies have started to arrive.
"We also see and supervise all muddy markets, we get data throughout Indonesia that there is also a lot of rice and of course people don't need to worry about rice. Because we see that imported rice has entered from abroad which gradually fills Bulog warehouses throughout Indonesia," said Whisnu.
