RMKE Keeps Zero Fatality 6 Years In A Row
JAKARTA - PT RMK Energy Tbk (RMKE) has managed to maintain the achievement of the zero fatality target for the last 6 years, where the Fatality Frequency Rate (FFR) & Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) of RMKE in 2023 is 0 (zero).
This means that throughout 2023 there will be no fatality and working hours lost due to work accidents from every one million working hours.
Director of PT RMK Energy Tbk, Sugiyanto said that the Company continues to be committed to improving the performance of Work Safety and Health (K3) by prioritizing the implementation of K3 in every operational activity starting from upstream to downstream.
"Security in carrying out mining operations is the number one thing, we have succeeded in realizing zero fatality while carrying out RMKE operations and then we will continue to maintain it," said Sugi in his statement, Thursday, February 22.
As one of the strategies to maintain the sustainability of zero fatality, continued Sugi, his party held a series of K3 activities in the Musi 2 Port work area, Palembang which took place from January to February 2024. The activity held by the Company carries a theme in line with the 2024 National K3 Month (BK3N), namely Cultural K3, Healthy and Selamat In Work, Maintained Business Sustainability.
The series of activities opened with remarks from Mr. Ir. Deliar Marzoeki, MM., HDI as to the South Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office who at the same time conveyed the Minister of Manpower's Response to the Opening of the 2024 National K3 Month.

The Company also gave awards to employees by holding the K3 Exemplary Employee Selection set by department heads of each department.
