Regarding Presenting The BEV In Indonesia, GWM: Still Reviewing Regulations
JAKARTA - The Great Wall Motor (GWM) will launch two hybrid vehicle models for the Indonesian market in the first quarter of this year (2024), namely Tank 500 and Haval.
In addition, the company also plans to introduce pure electric vehicles to the Indonesian market. One of the pure electric models that will be presented is Ora 03, which was previously exhibited at the GIIAS 2023 event.
However, GWM is still studying the BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) regulation in Indonesia to evaluate the opportunity to enter the segment. This was revealed by the General Manager of PT Indochape Indomobil Energi Baru, Constatinus Herlijoso.
"The regulation on the BEV was only decided at the beginning of last year, and we are currently evaluating the opportunity," he said when interviewed in Senayan, Tuesday, February 20.
