Mahfud Ready To Meet Hadi Tjahjanto, Talks About Caring For Indonesia

JAKARTA - Former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD also responded to the desire of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto to meet with him.

"I am ready to meet Pak Hadi. Pak Hadi went to my house, or I went to Pak Hadi's office at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs," Mahfud said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 21.

Mahfud explained that the former Minister of ATR/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) was a good and professional workmate.

Therefore, he welcomed Hadi's desire to meet.

"In addition, the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs is my state alma mater. We will never get tired of loving and caring for Indonesia," he said.

Previously, the former TNI Commander stated that he would meet a number of national figures, including Mahfud MD.

"I have just been inaugurated now, God willing, in the near future I will also visit Pak Mahfud Md and all national figures. I will go to all of them," said Hadi after being inaugurated by President Joko Widodo as the definitive Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo advised Hadi Tjahjanto as the newly inaugurated Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs regarding security and investment support.

"I have ordered several things related to security and order, and related to support for investment that will enter Indonesia," said President Jokowi after the inauguration of state officials at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday.
