Anang explained that the Ministry of Education and Culture itself has strengthened efforts to prevent and deal with violence in educational units through Permendikbudristek Number 46 of 2023 which was launched on August 8, 2023 as part of the 25th Independence Learning Episode.
The regulation assigns education units to form TPPK, while provincial and district/city governments form a PPKSP Task Force to ensure a quick response to the handling of violence in education units.
To date, more than 338,000 educational units have formed TPPK with 251 provincial and district/city governments that have also formed the PPKSP Task Force.
These steps are an effort by the Ministry of Education and Culture to create a learning environment that is safe, comfortable, inclusive, fun, and free from all violence," said Anang.
