Toyota Indonesia Ensures Hilux Rangga Will Launch This Year
PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) ensures that the launch of their newest commercial vehicle, Hilux Rangga, will be held this year.
"So we still need a little time, but we are optimistic that Rangga will launch this year," said PT TAM Marketing Director Anton Jimmi Suwandy at JIEPXO, Kemayoran some time ago, quoted on Tuesday, February 20.
According to him, launching the Toyota Hilux Rangga to the Indonesian automotive market requires various very mature preparations and is not easy.
Currently, various preparations to present a perfect commercial vehicle according to the wishes and needs of consumers in Indonesia, Toyota Indonesia is making various preparations.
The presence of Toyota Hilux Rangga is a form of the company's commitment to be able to contribute more, in advancing and also supporting the mobility and activities of business actors in Indonesia.
Before the vehicle officially launched in Indonesia, various concept vehicles for this vehicle had also been exhibited at various prestigious Indonesian automotive exhibitions.
The concepts that Toyota has presented for these vehicles include Rangga Concept Mobile Café, Rangga Concept Ambulance, Rangga Concept EV Charge Mobile Service, and Rangga Concept Pace Car.
This is to provide various references to the owners later, when using the vehicle as a means of entrepreneurship.
At the IIMS 2024 event, Toyota Indonesia displayed this vehicle without a mix of concepts such as in other motorcycle shows. Toyota Hilux Rangga comes with white clothes on almost all sides without a recall on each side.
At the IIMS 2024 event, Toyota itself displays this commercial vehicle with a flattdeck three way type or commonly known as a tub that can be opened in three directions. That way, the owners will find it easier to increase or lower luggage.

For comfort while driving in the hot weather, this commercial vehicle is equipped with an AC feature that is present in the corner of the kana and also left which can be arranged through the button presented in the headunit area.
Descendants of the Toyota Kijang Pickup, which has been present since 1977, have a very meaningful meaning. Taken from the name of Indonesian cultural heritage, inspired by the Javanese Ronggo, this vehicle is believed to be able to symbolize the Knight or Hero (Pahlawan).
Historically, Rangga's name is also believed to be strong and tough so that a representation of that name will appear in the commercial vehicle.
Not only giving a strong and tough impression, this vehicle is expected to become a hero for business actors in Indonesia.

Previously, the Hilux Rangga commercial vehicle was launched in Thailand and was also exhibited at last year's Japan Mobility Show (JMS).
