Improve Quality, Jasa Marga Make Over Toll Roads He Manages

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) strives to improve road quality through beautification and landing programs on toll roads that are managed as part of sustainable management.

Not only as an aesthetic addition, this beautification program also functions to reduce the impact of pollution. So, it can increase the comfort of road users when driving.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said the efforts made by her party were also in line with the commitment of the Ministry of PUPR through the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) related to improving the quality of toll roads.

"A number of efforts have been made by Jasa Marga, including reforestation and landscaping through tree planting, park maintenance and landscaping beautification both on the interchange, toll gates, gate offices and along toll roads," Lisye said as quoted from Jasa Marga's official website, Tuesday, February 20.

In an effort to beautify several toll roads, Jasa Marga Group has installed plant plant planters, cleaned planting areas and planted several ornamental plants on slopes or hills that are always maintained as well as Jasa Marga service providers, namely Jasamarga Tollroad Maintenance (PT JMTM).

In planting plants along toll roads, techniques are used to reduce air pollution, add beauty, comfort, harmony and do not ignore safety factor and pay attention to seeds or plant seeds.

Lisye said the beautification effort was not only to fulfill one of the SPMs. However, indirectly it also increases the company's image and branding and supports the company's sustainability program in the environmental sector.

"Jasa Marga is always committed to increasing the fulfillment of Minimum Service Standards (SPM)," he said.

This is also evidenced by the Gold predicate Green Toll Road Certification award for the Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road managed by PT Jasamarga Pandaan Tol or JPT.

Then, the Pandaan-Malang Toll Road which is managed by PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang or JPM and the Bali Mandara Toll Road which is managed by PT Jasamarga Bali Tol.

In addition, JSMR also won another Sustainable Toll Road award organized by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).

The award in question is the title of Jalan Tol Terbaik I for 3 categories at once, namely Best I Category of Toll Road Panjang more than 50 kilometers (km) for Jagorawi Toll Road, Best I Category of Toll Road Panjang 15-50 km for Pandaan-Malang Toll Road and Best I Category of Toll Road Panjang less than 15 km for Sedyatmo Toll Road.

The management of the toll road rest area through a subsidiary of PT Jasamarga Related Business or JMRB has also won the title of Best Rest Area I for Rest Area Km 88B of the Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang (Cipularang) Toll Road.
