4 Mataram Residents Affected By Falling Trees Due To Strong Winds Taken To The IGD NTB RSUP
NTB - At least four residents were hit by fallen trees due to strong winds at 12.15 WITA in front of Bank Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Syariah Jalan Pejanggik, Mataram City, Tuesday, February 20.
"The four residents have now been taken to the NTB RSUP ER for further medical treatment," said Head of the Mataram City Environment Agency (DLH) H Nizar Denny Cahyadi in Mataram, NTB, Tuesday, February 20, as reported by Antara.
He directly monitored the handling of fallen trees carried out by about 50 personnel from the Mataram City DLH team. According to him, based on information from the NTB RSUP, three of the four victims were mothers and children.
The first victim, Fitriana (32) from Kediri, West Lombok Regency, suffered abrasions on the base of the nose of 2x1cm, 5x2cm, gum bleeding, haematome on the forehead of 7x5cm, and dizziness.
Then Alifa (4 years old) experienced weakness due to shock and Khalisa Hibatillah (3 years) suffered abrasions on the left forehead of 1x0.5cm and chest pain.
"Another online motorcycle taxi driver suffered abrasions on his leg and was injected with anti pain. We have not received detailed data on the name of this online motorcycle taxi," he said.

Furthermore, Denny said the tree that fell in front of Bank NTB Syariah was a very large type of banyan tree.
"The fall of this tree was triggered by strong winds and the condition of the stems and roots that had been porous. Even though the tree still looks fresh," he said.
In this regard, more than 50 DLH officers are currently being optimized to clean branches and stems of banyan trees so that traffic flow can return to normal.
"We collect the results of the cleaning at the TPST, and God willing, the cleaning process will be completed today," he said.
