Google Launches New Sidebar For Google Doc, Slides, And Spreadsheets On Android Tablets
JAKARTA - Google is rolling out an update, adding a new format for Google Docs, Slides, and Spreadsheets on Android tablets.
"On Android devices the big screen adds a new formattode to Google Documents, Slides, and Spreadsheets," Google wrote in its update, quoted Monday, February 19.
Google says that this new decade will reduce the number of beats needed to navigate to the formatting options, and allow you to compose text, tables, images, and others more easily.
The launch of this new cydebar is planned for global release on March 6, 2024, and is available to all Google Workspace subscribers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.
Not only that, Google is also rolling out a new feature that will allow users to easily replace Google Slides background by pulling and taking pictures off.

Raising the cursor to the edge of an empty slide before inserting images (from the desktop, Content Bibliography, or other web pages) will now set the image as a background on Google Slides,' explained the company.
This new feature is planned for release on February 26, 2024, and is available to all Google Workspace subscribers, Individual Google Workspace subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.
