IKN Development Increases Penajam Coastal Community Income

The basic needs are in the form of providing barracks model residences for rent to workers, as well as catering food.

A total of 15-20 houses with barracks models were rented to workers with rental costs reaching Rp. 10-15 million per year.

In addition, as many as three families in the area provide ketering food morning, afternoon, and evening for approximately 250 workers at a price of Rp. 20-25 thousand per package.

Some residents who become fishermen, in addition to increasing demand for consumption fish, they are also involved as additional workers on a number of projects, especially during less favorable weather to go to sea.

Community work in Lango Beach Village, according to him, is mostly fishermen, and takes care of oil palm plantations.
