Erick Thohir Launches Garuda's Limited Electric Motorcycle Edition
JAKARTA - The Minister of SOEs who is also the chairman of PSSI, Erick Thohir launched the Gesits Garuda Electric Motor. The electric motorbike that was launched was sold on a limited basis, where the launching of 100 criminal units was 100 motorcycles.
The launch of the electric motorcycle was carried out at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Sunday, February 18.
Erick said the presence of Gesits motorbikes in the football industry indicates that more and more local products symbolize pride in Indonesia through the Indonesian national team.
"Especially before this there were also producers who wanted to be involved in building football. This indicates that our football value is getting higher and trusted by sponsors," said Erick.
Meanwhile, Director of PT Gesits Motor Nusantara Bernardi Djumiril explained that the Gesits Garuda electric motorbike is a collaboration between PT Gesits Motor Nusantara and PT Garuda Sepakbol Indonesia (GSI).
For your information, PT GSI is a company whose 95 percent shares are controlled by PSSI and 5 percent are owned by the Indonesian Football Bakti Foundation.
"This is a collaboration between PT Gesits Motor Nusantara as a national electric motorcycle manufacturer and PT Garuda Sepabolic Indonesia as a company under PSSI to support the progress of Indonesian football," he said.

Furthermore, Bernadi said that Garuda's Gesits motorbike will be sold on a limited basis or limited edition of only 100 units.
"The number is approximately 100, I just leaked it," he said.
Specifically for the purchase of a Garuda Gesist motorbike at IIMS, continued Bernadi, it will get a special edition Garuda helmet and also a new jersey for the Indonesian national team in 2024.
"We are optimistic that this special edition with this unique appearance will further enhance the emotional bond of users of the Gesits unit," he said.
