Ray Summarizes No Need For A Transition Cabinet From Jokowi To Prabowo If He Wins The 2024 Election
JAKARTA - The Director of the Madani Circle, Ray Rangkuti, assessed that there was no need for a transitional cabinet in the transfer of power from President Jokowi to Prabowo Subianto.
As is known, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka is currently leading the vote acquisition based on the results of the 2024 quick count or fast count of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) in several survey institutions.
"In my opinion, there is no need for a transition cabinet, such as during the transition period from Pak SBY (Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono) to Pak Jokowi. Nothing is new," Ray Rangkuti told reporters, Saturday, February 17, 2024.
According to him, there is no need for a cabinet transition or cabinet reshuffle because Prabowo is part of the current government. Moreover, the number two presidential candidate echoed the sustainability program.

However, if it is felt that there is a technical need in forming a new cabinet, according to Ray Rangkuti, only a small team is needed to do technical things.
"The function is only for consolidation. So, only the work team, not the think team, like the transition period from SBY to Jokowi," he said.
Meanwhile, for work programs, Ray continued, there is no need for a team. You see, Prabowo has so far not initiated anything new.
"The new thing, for example, is just a matter of free lunch and giving milk," said Ray.
