Bambang Widjojanto Asks The KPU Not Only To Apologize For Troubled Sirekap But Open Access To Audit
JAKARTA - The AmIN National Team Expert Council Bambang Widjojanto (BW) asked the KPU not only to apologize for the problematic voice recapitulation information system (sisrekap).
"KPU admits that the mistake (sirekap) then apologizes, it's good, but in law it can't just apologize. One form of apology should provide access for each candidate to conduct an audit," said Bambang, Friday, February 16.
According to BW, by conducting an audit from each candidate's IT team, the KPU can be helped from the problem of inaccurate sirekap data.
"In fact, we help the KPU, fix it if the system has a weakness, take down first fix it for a few days, then reopen it after we check together that this is accurate," he said.
Bambang also said that the automatic conversion error on the inaccurate C1 form has had an impact on the lack of public trust in the KPU.

Previously reported, KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari apologized and admitted that the readers automatically had problems. So that the emergent sirekap data does not match the form in C1.
"We apologize if the reading results are not perfect," said Hasyim at the KPU office, Jakarta, Thursday, February 15.
Sirekap sambung Hasyim, memiliki sistem untuk konversion pembacaan form, kemudian secara otomatis akan muncul angka jumlah.
"There is a system in the sirekap for conversions that read the form and then the count number will automatically appear, there is a problem there," said Hasyim.
