Attorney General's Office To Deepen Relationship Between Tan Kian And Bentjok In The PT Asabri Case

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is investigating the relationship between Tan Kian and Benny Tjokrosaputro in the alleged corruption case of PT Asabri. This is because the two of them are known to have collaborated.

"Yes, so now we are deepening, whether the cooperation is purely a business, or in order to launder Benny Tjokro's money, we should deepen it, to what extent is the evidence," said the Investigation Director of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) AGO Febrie Adriansyah to reporters. , Friday, 26 February.

Febrie also said that in the two investigations of Tan Kian, investigators were still investigating the cooperation. Until later in the examination, evidence was found whether or not there was any act against the law.

"The examination of him (Tan Kian) is still deepening where his cooperation is, how is the composition of his business values when he collaborates," he said.

Furthermore, investigators have also confiscated 18 rooms of the South Hill Apartment which belonged to Benny Tjokrosaputro. The apartment is also the result of collaboration with Tan Kian.

For information, Tan Kian was also caught in the corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya. This is because he had a partnership with Benny Tjokro.

The two of them made a deal in 2015 for an apartment building under the name South Hill.

During the construction process, the sale was carried out by pre-sale, in which the proceeds from the sale, Benny had received a payment of IDR 400 billion and Tan Kian received IDR 1 trillion.

There was a share of the proceeds from the sale of apartments that had not been sold. It was agreed that the Defendant Benny would receive 70 percent and Tan Kian received 30 percent.
