Bawaslu Reveals Potential 2,413 TPS Undergo Re-voting

Chairman of the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) RI Rahmat Bagja revealed that there are 2,413 polling stations (TPS) that have the potential to re-vote (PSU) because voters get their voting rights more than once.

"The most likely PSU will occur is the 2,413 Tcs incident where voters are found to have more than one voting right," said Bagja at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, Thursday, February 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

"It's probably a big PSU," he continued.

However, Bawaslu is still investigating this matter. He said whether it was really a recommendation from the district/city panwascam and Bawaslu or not.

"Of course, it is investigated whether this is true (there is potential for PSU) from the Panwascam and also the district/city Bawaslu," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Indonesian KPU, Hasyim Asy'ari, assessed that the re-voting could be carried out through recommendations from Bawaslu. If it is done but it has the potential for PSU to be carried out.

"Because basically to be able to re-vote, the mechanism is the recommendation of the Panwascam which works in the scope, there are but PSU has the potential to do it," he said.
