Newly Assigned In Indonesia, 9 Ambassadors Give Letters Of Trust To Jokowi

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received a credentials of 9 extraordinary and fully powerful ambassadors (dubes) of friendly countries at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday 15 Fabruari.

Based on an official statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the procession of the handover of credentials began with the listening of national anthems from each friendly country after the ambassadors arrived at the Merdeka Palace.

A number of troops also carried the flag of friendly countries with the Republic of Indonesia in the future of the Merdeka Palace.

The nine ambassadors of friendly countries received by the President, namely:

1. Belarusian Ambassador, Raman Ramanouski2. Bosnian Ambassador and Herzegovina, Armin Limo3. Ambassador of Mauritania, Wedddy Ould Sidi Haiba4. Japanese Ambassador, Masaki Yasushi5. Egyptian Ambassador Yasser Hassan Farag Elshemy6. Bangladeshi Ambassador, Withdraws Islam7. Algerian Ambassador Hassane Rabehi8. Uruguay AmbassadorMuslim Gonzalez9. Portuguese Ambassador Miguel De Mascarinhas De Calheiros Velozo

The handover of the credentials marked the start of the ambassador's official assignment in Indonesia.

After completing handing over the credentials to President Joko Widodo, the ambassadors said goodbye. The National Anthem of Indonesia Raya was also played on that occasion.

Also accompanying the President on the occasion were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono.
