Bogor Bawaslu Finds Presidential Election Voice Letter Allegedly Voted For Prabowo-Gibran

BOGOR - The Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) of Bogor Regency, West Java, found that a number of presidential election types (Pilpres) were already in a state of voting in Bojongkulur Village, Gunungputri, Bogor, during the vote.

Bogor Regency Bawaslu member Irvan Firmansyah revealed that the incident occurred at the polling station (TPS) 54 of Bojongkulur Village. At the polling station, there were eight ballot papers that had been cast in the candidate pair for presidential / vice presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"Yes, we received information earlier and immediately went down to this TPS, information on eight ballots allegedly that there were traces of the former voting site," said Irvan as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 14.

He explained that initially there were two voters at the polling station who received ballot papers that were already in a collapsed condition. Then, both of them exchanged the ballot paper with a new one. However, the new ballot paper was already in a state of voting, so the selection process was temporarily suspended.

"Then checked all ballots, found the remaining four (voting papers) again, the same so that there are eight ballots that are suspected of having used voting," he explained.

Then, said Irvan, the local polling group (kpps) and witnesses agreed to record the eight ballot papers as ballots damaged.

"So the total is 178 voters. This means that in general it does not interfere and it has been declared a damaged ballot, not counted," said Irvan.

In addition to declaring it a damaged ballot paper, the Bogor Regency Bawaslu investigated the alleged intentional element of the voting paper incident.

"If it is done here, someone did it (deliberately voting) could enter the realm of election crime, but they don't know, they are accepted in such conditions by Kpps," he said.
