The Ex-Head Of Sukawangi Bogor Village, The Village Budget Of Rp. 3.4 Billion Ditil Rp900 Million For Personal Interest
BOGOR - The Bogor District Attorney's Office (Kejari) has detained the Head of Sukawangi Village for the 2015-2020 period, Endro Hermawanto after being named a suspect in corruption (corruption).
"Fiscal year 2019. The total budget is Rp. 3.4 billion, then after being audited by the inspectorate there is a loss of Rp. 900 million," said Head of the Bogor District Prosecutor's Office, Munaji, as reported by Antara, Thursday, February 25.
The former Head of Sukawangi Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, has collected money from six activities whose budgets come from village funds and provincial financial assistance (bankeu).
The funds that were corrupted should have been paid for the concretization of village roads, housing assistance unfit for habitation, to assistance for village-owned enterprises.
"The money (the proceeds of corruption) did not flow, it was used for personal gain. Can not explain what," said Munaji.
For his actions, Endro Hermawanto is threatened with being charged under Law number 20, article 2 and article 3 of 2001 on corruption with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Munaji hopes that this case will serve as a warning to all village heads to manage government budgets properly and honestly.
Meanwhile, the Head of Special Crimes (Pidsus), Bogor District Prosecutor's Office, Bambang Winarno said that his party had examined 12 witnesses in the case.
"This is based on findings in the field and residents' reports. The 12 witnesses included the current sub-district and village head," said Bambang.
