It Turns Out That There Are 207 TPS For The 2024 Election In Jakarta Which Are Still Constrained By Internet Networks
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) released a mapping of vulnerable polling stations (TPS) in the 2024 General Election. This polling station has the potential to experience disturbances or obstacles during voting days.
One of them, there are still a number of polling stations that experience problems with the internet network in Jakarta. The number is quite large, namely 207 polling stations.
"There are problems with the internet network at the TPS location with a total of 207 TPS. Most of them are in South Jakarta," said Head of DKI Jakarta Bawaslu Munandar Nugraha in his statement, Tuesday, February 13.
In more detail, there are 5 indicators of the most vulnerable TPS that occur, 9 indicators that occur a lot, and 6 indicators that do not occur much but still need to be anticipated.
"Mapping of vulnerabilities is carried out on 7 variables and 22 indicators, taken from at least 203 urban villages in 6 regencies/cities that report vulnerabilities for TPS in their area," said Munandar.
The first vulnerable TPS variables and indicators are the use of voting rights (DPT that do not meet the requirements, DPTb, DPK, and KPPS outside the domicile). Second, security (power history and/or intimidation). Third, campaign (money politics and/or hate speech around the TPS).
Fourth, neutrality (ordinator, ASN, TNI/Polri, Village Head and/or Village Apparatus). Fifth, logistics (power of damage, shortage/excession, exchange, and/or delay).
Sixth, the location of the TPS (difficult to reach, prone to disasters, is close to educational institutions/factories/companies, close to the posts/homes of the election participating campaign team, and/or special locations). Seventh, electricity and internet networks.
"The mapping of this vulnerable TPS is the material for Bawaslu, KPU, election participants, the government and law enforcement officers, monitoring, media, and the entire community to mitigate so that the voting is smooth without disturbances that hinder democratic elections," he explained.
Meanwhile, the 5 most vulnerable TPS indicators occur:
1) 8,453 TPS with Additional Voters (DPTb)
2) 1,317 polling stations in disaster-prone areas (floods, landslides, and/or earthquakes)
3) 282 polling stations that have the potential for voters to meet the requirements but are not registered with the DPT (DPK)
4) 256 TPS there are DPT voters who do not meet the requirements
5) 207 TPS with internet network problems at the TPS location
Meanwhile, there are 9 vulnerable TPS indicators that occur a lot:
1) 177 polling stations have a history of delays in distribution at polling stations (maximum H-1) during elections/elections
2) 131 TPS there are problems with electricity flow at the TPS location
3) 121 polling stations near the post/home of the election participating campaign team
4) 93 TPS there is the practice of giving money or goods during the campaign and the quiet period around the TPS location
5) 82 polling stations near educational institutions whose students have the potential to have the right to vote
6) 80 TPS in a special location

8) 69 polling stations have KPPS which are voters outside the TPS domicile where they work
9) 51 polling stations have a history of violence at polling stations.
Then, 6 indicators of vulnerable TPS do not occur much, but it needs to be anticipated, namely:
1) 32 polling stations near the work area (mining, factory)
2) 26 polling stations have a history of deficiencies or advantages and there are even no logistics available during elections/elections
3) 23 polling stations have a history of intimidation against election organizers
