Need Additional Costs, Lampung Asks 18 Provincial Roads To Enter IJD In 2024

LAMPUNG - The Lampung Provincial Government (Pemprov) is proposing 18 provincial roads so that they can enter and be handled again through the Regional Road Inpres (IJD) program in 2024."Rehabilitation of provincial roads will continue in 2024 apart from using the APBD, it is hoped that it can also get additional financing through the Regional Road Inpres program," said Head of the Lampung Province Highways and Construction Agency (BMBK) Muhammad Taufiqullah in Bandarlampung, Antara, Monday, February 12.The Lampung Provincial Government will continue to propose 18 provincial roads in its area so that they can be handled through the Regional Road Inpres program by the central government."The proposal is still being carried out, we are trying to provide additional additions through the IJD for 2024, apart from the ongoing work using the APBD. The 18 proposed provincial roads are priority sections, one of which is the Purwotani-Korpri intersection," he said. Then the Tegal Mukti-Tajab road section, the Simpang Kiluan-Simpang Umbar road section, Simpang Umbar-Putih Doh which is a tourist route."Then the rest are roads last year, such as Jalan Kota Gajah-Simpang Randu, Seputih Surabaya-Simpang Randu, roads at the Lambbu Kibang Toll Gate, Gunung Batin Toll Gate."Last year Lampung from the Regional Road Presidential Instruction program received Rp800 billion, of which Rp450 billion was used for the handling of provincial roads and Rp350 billion was used for the rehabilitation of district and city roads. So it's not just the provincial roads that are repaired, if the provincial roads that were built yesterday were five sections along 440 kilometers," he said.According to him, in 2024 the local government will no longer handle road rehabilitation through the IJD program because 17 roads have been completed.
"This year there are two sections, one of which is Ulu Semong, which did not have time to be handled using the IJD in 2023, will be completed using the APBD. Meanwhile, the rehabilitation of 14 priority roads will still be carried out with the APBD budget this year," he added.
