Daihatsu Faced Early In 2024 With An Increase In Retail Sales Until This Time

JAKARTA - Daihatsu in Indonesia started in early 2024 with positive retail sales, by posting 16,976 units, an increase of around 12.5 percent compared to December 2023 which touched 15,085 units.

From the data shared, the overall volume and contribution of the Daihatsu retail sales model at the beginning of the year (January) 2024 were dominated by three models. So what?

The top three models are Astra Daihatsu Sigra with 5,319 units, or contributing around 31.3 percent, followed by Gran Max PU (Pick Up) with 4,146 units 24.4 percent and Terios with 2,267 units 13.4 percent.

"We thank you for the trust of customers, so that Daihatsu can start sales in early 2024 with positive achievements," said Tri Mulyono, Marketing & Customer Relations Division Head of PT Astra International Tbk, in an official statement received on Saturday, January 10.

When compared with sales per model between December 2023 and January 2024, the percentage increase in sales was in Ayla's model which rose by 152 percent to 2,023 units from the previous 1,335 units, followed by Gran Max Mini Bus (MB) by 137 percent to 1,293 units, and Terios by 134 percent to 2,267 units.

"Hopefully this achievement can contribute to the growth of sales, as well as the national automotive market in 2024 which can continue to grow," he added.

In closing, Tri Mulyono revealed that Daihatsu is committed to providing the best offers and services to customers.
