Related to this, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has opened its voice about the issue that KCIC provides advice or input to KAI to import a series of trains from China.
"We see that every party who (imports) the mode of transportation must have considerations. From our perspective, at that time the fast train was all used Chinese products. So, if there are other operators who will use the same production site, of course, they have their own considerations," said GM Corporate Secretary KCIC Eva Chairunisa to reporters at Halim Station, East Jakarta, Saturday, February 10.
Eva assessed that what KAI Commuter had done was in accordance with the procedure. Therefore, there is no specific recommendation from the KCIC.
"Everything is according to procedure. We also don't have the capacity there, what every operator does when ordering good from the ABCD country must have considerations," he said.
