7,148 Damaged Voice Letters In Kuningan Have Been Replaced
JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Kuningan Regency, West Java confirmed that the ballots had been changed in the area. The reason is, there are approximately 7,148 ballots that have been replaced.
"So, the KPU can be immediately distributed to 3,596 polling stations (TPS). "The KPU has submitted ballots according to the needs of each polling station, and we ensure the suitability of the types of ballots, quality, purpose and timeliness," said Head of the Kuningan Regency Bawaslu Firman quoting Antara. Firman said the thousands of ballots were found damaged when Bawaslu supervised the sorting and folding process, at the Kuningan KPU logistics warehouse some time ago. For these findings, he said, Bawaslu then asked the KPU to submit a replacement ballot according to the number of damaged ones. He said that after the submission, the Kuningan KPU immediately picked up the replacement ballots by being escorted directly from the police and Bawaslu.. For the fulfillment of the damaged ballots, the Kuningan KPU has picked up," he said. In addition, Firman continued, Bawaslu Kuningan found a shortage of ballots amounting to 3,655 pieces after monitoring the election logistics packing process. However, it is certain that the KPU has taken part of the deficiencies in particular for the types of ballots of Provincial DPRD and Regency DPRDs that are in accordance with their needs.
