Based on a post shared on X as well, Bluesky mentioned that there are more than 850,000 new users who register, with an average of 8 new accounts per second.

Furthermore, Bluesky also saw that there were almost two million or to be precise 1,936,219 posts made in the last 24 hours.

"Everything is going well here," wrote Bluesky CEO Jay Graber in a different post on X.

On Wednesday, February 7, Bluesky decided to open its services to the public, after previously using the invitation system.

With the invitation system, Graber said that Bluesky intends to grow at slower speeds, so they can build the platform and its underlying protocols, without any additional pressure that could be caused by a sudden spike in growth.

This has proven that during that one year, Bluesky has ensured that security is at the heart of social media.

Thus, Bluesky moderates the application according to the platform community guidelines.
