Delivery Of Logistics For The 2024 Election To The Thousand Islands Using An Ojek Ship, KPU: Strictly Escorted By Officials
The logistics for the 2024 General Election for voting in the Thousand Islands were sent using an ojek ship which is a traditional ship from Sunter, North Jakarta (Jakut).
"We will start shipping logistics on Friday (9 February) via Marina 1 Pier Ancol," said Chairman of the Thousand Islands General Election Commission (KPU), Iman Cahyadi in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 7, as reported by Antara.
He said, for logistics packaging, both the multiplicating of ballots and ballot boxes had been packaged.
"We just need to shift logistics from logistics warehouses in Sunter to logistics warehouses in the Thousand Islands," he said.
The Thousand Islands KPU has also held a coordination meeting (rakor) for preparation for logistics shifts as well as preparation for voting and vote counting for the 2024 General Election in the Pattern Room of the District Office, Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Village, North Thousand Islands, Wednesday.
"The electoral logistics will later be taken using a traditional ship (ojek ship) to a logistics warehouse on Pramuka Island. Meanwhile, the logistics distribution to other islands will be carried out on February 12-13," he said.

Iman added that all preparations continue to be made, both in terms of all logistical needs for the 2024 election, the number and time must be right, as well as preparations to be made before the voting and vote count.
"We hope that all policy makers work hand in hand to succeed in simultaneous elections in 2024 in the Thousand Islands," he said.
