Claiming To Be Cheated By The Travel Bureau, The Czech Woman Was Abandoned To Be Deported From Bali
A woman from a foreign national (WNA) from the Czech Republic, with the initials MS (37) was deported from the island of Bali, due to overstaying for 9 months.
Head of the Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) Denpasar, Gede Dudy Duwita, said this foreigner violated Article 78 paragraph 3 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.
"We are subject to immigration administrative measures in the form of deportation and deterrence," said Dudy, Wednesday, February 7.
The Class I Immigration Office of TPI Denpasar previously received reports from the public regarding violations of MS residence permits that were no longer valid in Indonesia.
Officers immediately moved to the Tabanan Regency area, where these foreigners lived.
Officers checked travel documents and residence permits. This Czech citizen is known to use Visa On Arrival (VoA) which is valid until April 19, 2023 for a vacation.
"He himself arrived in Indonesia on February 19, 2023 and has extended his residence permit once," he added.
When found by officers, MS's condition was concerning the condition of the weak body and did not have sufficient living expenses.
After being taken to the immigration office for further investigation, MS admitted that he knew his residence permit had expired until it finally overstayed.

MS also explained that he regularly pays every month to extend his stay permit through the travel agency. But lately his residence permit has not been taken care of. This Czech citizen also does not have the money to extend his stay permit in Bali.
"Although he argues that this is not entirely his fault, immigration can still carry out immigration immigration measures that are in line with the ignbiantia legislative principle of excusat neminem or ignorance of the law does not justify anyone," he said.
This Czech citizen was deported through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Tuesday (6/2) with the final destination of Vaclav Havel Prague International Airport.
