75 Detainees Will Vote For The 2024 General Election At The KPK Detention Center
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that 75 detainees will receive facilities to vote on February 14. They have collaborated with the General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta Province.
"The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in collaboration with the KPU of DKI Province will facilitate KPK detainees to be able to vote for ballots," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, February 7.
Ali said the voting was carried out by detainees at the KPK Detention Center at the Merah Putih building for detainees who were in the Rutan of the Merah Putih (K4) building, the Anti-Corruption Education Center building (C1), and the Jaya Guntur Pomdam Detention Center.
"Then the second TPS is located in the Puspomal Detention Center which will be facilitated by TPS officers around the Puspomal location," he said.

The voting will be attended by 75 anti-corruption commission detainees from 07.00 to 13.00 WIB. Next, the ballots submitted will be counted immediately.
"There are 7 members of the KPPS who come from local residents and prison officers," said Ali.
The KPK ensures its commitment to guarantee the rights of detainees. They as citizens have the right to vote in general elections based on equal rights through direct, public, free, confidential, honest and fair voting in accordance with applicable regulations," he concluded.
