Calculating The Efficacy Of Electric Cars, Neta: Apart From Being Environmentally Friendly, It's Really Far From ICE
JAKARTA - Electric cars are increasingly popular in Indonesia. However, many people still hesitate to switch to electric cars because they are worried about the cost of electricity consumption and maintenance.
Is it true that electric cars are more efficient than conventional cars (ICE)?
"With an overview of the accumulation of electricity consumption costs that we will show, we want to prove that having an electric car Neta V is not only an environmentally friendly choice, but also value for money for the long term," said Jordy Angkawidjaja, Product Planning Manager of PT NETA Auto Indonesia, in his statement, Tuesday, February 6.
He added that Neta V has a battery with a capacity of 40.7 kWh which is able to cover a distance of up to 401 km in one charge. The full charging fee through SPKLU is only around Rp. 70,000.
When compared to conventional cars, Neta V is much more efficient. Neta V's electricity consumption cost per year is only around Rp. 3.5 million to cover 20,000 km, compared to gasoline cars which reach Rp. 26 million.

When viewed by the specifications, Neta V is equipped with a DC Fast Charging feature that allows charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Neta V owners can also charge at home easily using the Wall Charger which is provided free by Neta until February 29, 2024.
