Keasang Sesumbar Sudah Lama Tahu Tentang Survei PSI Lolos Parliamentary Threshold
JAKARTA - PSI General Chairperson (Ketum) Kaesang Pangarep admitted that he had known for a long time about the survey results showing his party's vote of more than 4 percent or passing the parliamentary threshold beyond the parliamentary threshold as a condition for qualifying for the DPR.
"I know for a long time. I already know," said Kaesang after PSI's Grand Campaign at Lasitarda Lasiana Field, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Wednesday, January 31, was confiscated by Antara.
Based on the latest survey of Analytica Research Data, PSI received a vote of up to 4.3 percent. The percentage has exceeded the 4 percent parliamentary threshold requirement which allows the party claiming to be a youth party to enter the DPR after failing in the 2019 election.
Executive Director of Data Research Analytica Nana Kardina said PSI's opportunity to qualify for the DPR was contributed by party associations with President Joko Widodo, especially since the entry of Kaesang and support for Prabowo-Gibran.
According to him, Jokowi's split with the PDI-P provides an opportunity for PSI to develop into Jokowi's political vehicle.
"The entry of PSI to Senayan (DPR) can be a channel of Jokowi's interests in the legislative arena, while Prabowo-Gibran controls the executive," said Nana.
