BYD Indonesia Still Closes Meeting Of Three Electric Car Prices, Why?

JAKARTA - BYD is still closing the price meeting for the three electric cars that have just been launched in Indonesia, namely Dolphin, Atto 3, and the Seal electric sedan.

Head of Marketing Communication of PT BYD Motor Indonesia (BMI) Luther T. Panjaitan, said that to determine the price of BYD electric cars in Indonesia, many considerations.

"There are many considerations (to talk about prices), but this year it must be announced. Because this is also related to government regulations, we are still waiting," he said, when met by the media crew, in Bandung, Tuesday, January 30.

So will IIMS be the big stage BYD to launch the price of one of the three models presented?

"Hopefully there will be, we want trade too," he explained.

Although he has not officially announced the price, he said the response in Indonesia is quite positive. It is proven that many have pre-booked for the three electric car models presented by BYD.

In fact, he said there is something unique (customer) in Indonesia. Where there are those that are customer emotional buyers, and rational buyers. For example, for the Seal model, which is indeed more towards emotional buyers.

"If the emotional buyer is for the Seal model that is in demand, maybe you already know what (Seal) is like, how much it costs, and many like that," he added.

However, over time, the potential for the rational buyer is also increasingly visible who want to know more about the Dolphin and Atto 3 models which offer the impression of comfortable driving.

"Now many (rational buyers) are starting to ask about Atto 3 and Dolphin, regarding price, delivery when, and want to try it directly," he concluded.
