Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Project Reaches 82.67 Percent, Targeted To Be Completed In The Second Quarter Of 2024
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) targets that the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road as part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 2 Toll Road, will be completed in the second quarter of 2024.
Through uploads on the official Instagram account @kemenpupr, the progress of the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road has now reached 82.67 percent and will later be connected to a number of toll roads in the Jabodetabek area.
"With 82.67 percent construction progress, this toll road is targeted for completion in the second quarter of 2024," said PUPR statement, on Monday, January 29.
The 19.65 kilometer (km) toll road will also be connected to industrial areas, such as in Cikarang and Tanjung Priok Port.
So, it is hoped that this toll road can improve smooth mobility and commuter and logistics movements, especially towards the Cibitung and Cilincing industrial areas.
"The Ministry of PUPR continues to build the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road Section 2B for the Cikeas-Cibitung section (19.65 km)," he added.

Then, the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road will also be a connecting access from Cibubur to the Jagorawi Toll Road and connecting 5 toll roads that are members of the JORR 2 Toll Road.
It is known, of the total 26.18 km of the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road, currently operating is section 1A Cimanggis-Jatikarya with a length of 3.17 km and section 2A Jatikarya-Cikeas 3.78 km.
The presence of the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road will increase the capacity of roads in Depok, Bekasi, Bogor Regency and Bekasi Regency.
