TKDN Touches 40 Percent, Chery OMODA E5 Gets Full Support From The Indonesian Government Towards Zero Emission

The Chery Omoda E5 in early February will be officially launched in Indonesia as well as the first country for the presence of this one model.

In accordance with the nickname given to Chery OMODA E5, namely the 'E-Future Ranger', this car will be a sustainable future guard.

Coming with the tagline 'Drive E-Future', Chery OMODA E5 is a tangible form of Chery's support for the Indonesian government to realize Net Zero Emission (NZE) in 2060, one of which is by presenting high-quality electric vehicles.

Rifkie added that in an effort to support government programs, CSI complies with the rules imposed in the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia, including following the minimum 40% rule for the Domestic Content Level (TKDN).

In addition, some time ago CSI introduced the electric car to officials of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment. The opportunity was represented by Wang Peng, Vice President of PT Chery Sales Indonesia and Ari Novi Wardana, Government Relations and Homologation Manager, CSI met M. Firdausi Manti, Assistant Deputy for Maritime and Transportation Industries and Arianto Wibowo, Coordinator of Manufacturing and Electric Vehicles in the Transportation Industry.

During the meeting, Firdausi and Arianto also had the opportunity to ride the Chery Omoda E5. After conducting the vehicle test, both Firdaus and Arianto firmly expressed their appreciation for the Chery Omoda E5. With the various technological advantages offered, both of them believe that this electric car is able to support Indonesia's vision towards a greener future.

As additional information, the OMODA E5 Chery has a power of 150 kW and a battery with a capacity of 61.06 kWh. The OMODA E5 Chery was able to cover a distance of up to 430 kilometers on WLTP (Worldwide harmoniced Light Vehicles Test Procedure) and 505 kilometers on NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) testing in a single full charge, making it ideal for dynamic daily mobility.
