Residents In Cipinang Besar Clash, But Not A Single Perpetrator Was Arrested By The Police
JAKARTA - Clashes between residents of RW 01 and RW 02 in Cipinang Besar Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta occurred on Sunday, January 28, morning. However, not a single citizen involved in the action was arrested by the police.
"Nothing (is secured)," said Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Sunday, January 28.
Nicolas explained that the trigger for this clash was allegedly due to mocking each other between residents of RW 01 and RW 02 on Jalan Basuki Rahmat, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.
Not accepting the ridicule, both parties finally attacked each other using stones and fireworks.
"The trigger for this brawl was due to the ridicule of young people from both parties accompanied by the burning of fireworks," he said.
The police who received the information went directly to the crime scene (TKP). Arriving at the location, his party tried to intervene, but two police officers were hit by stones.
"No (people who are injured). It was precisely those who were thrown by members of the Police who intervened," he said.
