NU Holds The 101st Peak Harlah At Yogyakarta UNU
YOGYAKARTA - The Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board held the peak of the commemoration of NU's 101st Birthday at Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) in Yogyakarta on Wednesday (31/1).
"This activity will be attended directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo together with a number of ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Suhail Mohammed Al Mazroei," said Chairman of the Implementing Committee for the 101st Harlah NU Syarif Munawi as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 27.
The peak of the halalah, which coincides with the 98th NU Harlah based on the AD calendar, will also be attended by ambassadors from several countries, as well as other honorary guests who are strategic partners of UNU Yogyakarta.
President Joko Widodo, said Syarif, is scheduled to inaugurate the Yogyakarta UNU Integrated Campus Building in the initial series of the peak of the halalah event.
The event then continued with the awarding ceremony to KH Ahmad Shiddiq (Rais Aam PBNU 1984-1991) as a Pioneer Leader of Humanitarian Brotherhood.
On that occasion, the "Kickoff" procession for the Development of MBZ College for Future Studies, the procession for the inauguration of the Archipelago Art Gallery, the inauguration of the Industry Hub by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, an Imersive Technology Performance: Future Expedition, to the theatrical appearance of "NU Future".
According to Syarif, before the peak event at UNU Yogyakarta, the series of NU's 101st Harlah will be opened with istigasah at the Sunan Pandanaran Islamic Boarding School, Bantul on Sunday (28/1).
This istigasah will be led directly by Katib Aam PBNU KH Akhmad Said Asrori and filled with mauidhah hasnah by Rais Aam PBNU KH Miftachul Akhyar.
This activity will be attended by residents and administrators of NU Bantul, kiai pesantren in Bantul, and students of the Sunan Pandanaran Islamic Boarding School, Sleman.
"This joint prayer activity is intended to ask for the help of Allah SWT for the benefit of Nahdlatul Ulama and Indonesia," said Syarif.
"As an expression of gratitude for the journey of Nahdlatul Ulama which has reached 101 years of hijri, the committee also presents 101 cones to be enjoyed together," he said.

On Monday (29/1), the activity was continued with the National Halaqah of the Nahdlatul Ulama Civilization Strategy at the Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School, Krapyak, Yogyakarta.
This activity will be filled by four speakers, namely PBNU Chairman KH Yahya Cholil Staquf, PBNU Deputy Rais Aam KH Afifuddin Muhajir, COO Center for Shared Civilization Values, North Caroline, USA, H Muhammad Cholil and, teachers at Boston University, USA Prof. Robert W Hefner, as well as members of PBNU Lakpesdam Prof Ismail Fajrie Alatas.
In addition to halaqah, PBNU will also hold a Grand Conference (Konbes) NU at Hotel Melia Purosani, Yogyakarta on Tuesday (30/1).
The NU Konbes activity will focus on discussing the Regulation of the Association (Perkum) which regulates the basis and authority of the discussion and determination of the law, methods and the process of making decisions, as well as other related matters.
"Another thing that was discussed was regarding the Perkum regarding the management of health facilities, as well as the improvement of the Perkum regarding deliberation and performance measurements," said Syarif.
