JCI Opens Down 9.05 Points, UNTR and TPIA Shares Rise

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Thursday, January 25, 2024 weakened 9.05 points or 0.12 percent to 7,218.80 at 09.10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,227.68, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,235.16 and the lowest was 7,215.35.

The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 1.03 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 575.06 billion. There were 209 shares rising, 154 shares falling, and 215 shares flat.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Fortune Indonesia Tbk (FORU) rose 41 or 21.93 percent to IDR 228, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) rose 225 or 4.11 percent to IDR 5,700, PT United Tractor Tbk (UNTR) rose 475 or 2.11 percent to IDR 23,025.

Meanwhile, among the top losers, shares of PT Citra Nusantara Gemilang Tbk (CGAS) fell 98 or 24.87 percent to IDR 296, shares of PT Unilever Indonesia (UNVR) fell 40 or 1.25 percent to IDR 3,160, and shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) fell 75 or 1.17 percent to IDR 6,325.
