The Governor Of South Kalimantan Inaugurates A Bridge Named Himself Sahbirin Noor
BANJARMASIN - Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor inaugurated a bridge named himself or the Sahbirin Noor Bridge connecting Jalan Martapura Lama, Banjar Regency and Jejangkit, Barito Kuala Regency.
The 176-meter-long and 6-meter-wide Martapura River was inaugurated by Sahbirin Noor, which was attended by elements of the local provincial Forkopimda.
The Governor of South Kalimantan hopes that the bridge being built in 2023 will be of great benefit to the people of the two districts, especially for the agricultural sector which is in charge of the economic sector.
He also ensured that the South Kalimantan Provincial Government was trying to improve the construction of road and bridge infrastructure in the two areas so that development was evenly distributed in all regions.
Uncle Birin, as he is familiarly called, also instructed the public work office and the arrangement of the local provincial space to smooth the access road connecting Jejangkit District, Barito Kuala Regency and Sungai Tabuk District, Banjar Regency.
"I ask the South Kalimantan PUPR Office to be able to repair inadequate roads," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 24.

"Because this is important to realize," said Sahbirin Noor, to improve the community's economy.
He also asked all parties to take care of the road and bridge infrastructure that has been built by the government, because it is for the common good.
Head of the PUPR Office of South Kalimantan Province, Ahmad Solhan, said that for the repair of the road from Martapura Lama to Jejangkit, it had been budgeted for work in 2024.
"For damaged roads that have been budgeted and implemented in 2024, later on, new road access will be made directly to Jalan Martapura Lama and roads to Barito Kuala Regency, including repairs to Jejangkit Bridge," said Ahmad Solhan.
