North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office Delegates IDR 50 Billion Corruption Cases Of PT PSU Land

The North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office handed over the defendant's file in a corruption case worth IDR 50 billion in the eradication activity of PT Perkebunan North Sumatra (PSU) plantation land in Tanjung Kasau, Batubara Regency in 2019-2020.

"The defendants are Lt. Col. Inf. (Ret.) STB, GA as a former Director of PT PSU and FMB as private circles," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office Yos A Tarigan in Medan as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 24.

The transfer of the files was carried out by the Public Prosecutor's Team for connectivity at the North Sumatra Attorney General's Office for Military Crimes (Pidmil) to the Medan District Court, Tuesday (23/1).

"Thus, the North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office Pidmil team is waiting for the trial schedule for the reading of the indictment," said Yos.

Previously, the Head of the North Sumatra Attorney General's Office, Idianto, said that this case stemmed from a letter of agreement which turned out to be only a mode or way to dredge and sell PT PSU land to the construction of toll roads through vendors with a total land of 2,980,092 m3.

"Based on the calculation of public accounting experts, the state, in this case PT PSU, suffered a loss of IDR 50,441,613,822," he said.
