Indonesia Masters 2024: Apri/Fadia Run Aground In The Hands Of A Dutch Pair
JAKARTA - Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti failed to advance to the second round of the 2024 Indonesia Masters after being beaten by representatives of the Netherlands, Debora Jille/Cheryl Senen.
Apri/Fadia lifted the suitcase earlier than the Super 500 BWF level tournament after losing with a score of 14-21 and 17-21 at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, evening WIB.
"To be honest, we are not satisfied with the results achieved. We learned a valuable lesson from this defeat. My condition is better and now I just have to dare to play again as usual," said Apriyani.
This is Apri/Fadia's first tournament earlier this year. Previously, the couple missed the Malaysia Open and the 2024 India Open.

The decision to withdraw from the two tournaments was because Apri still had to recover from injury. This problem made him unable to maximize his comeback at Istora.
"After recovering from Apriyani Rahayu's injury, we then just played again in this tournament. Of course it is not easy to restore performance. Now, we just have to look at the next tournament," said Fadia.
The death of Apri/Fadia made the remaining women's doubles Meilysa Trias Puspitasari/Rachel Allesya Rose, Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto, and Jesita Putri Miantoro/Febi Setianingrum. These three couples had previously locked tickets for the second half.
In addition to the three women's doubles, Indonesia has also received four tickets for the second round from the men's doubles number.
