BYD Yuan UP, Atto 3's Brother Launches In March
JAKARTA - Another new car from BYD will be launched in March. BYD's newest car is in the form of a compact SUV called Yuan UP.
His presence is evidenced by several pictures showing the car being tested on the highway. This also continues the announcement last December.
Reporting from Carnewschina, Tuesday, January 23, the car will be positioned under Yuan Plus or Atto 3 and Yuan Pro. The Yuan UP has a dimensions of 4,310 mm, a width of 1,830 mm, a height of 1,675 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,620 mm.
With the release of some of its newest photos, this also provides an overview of its exterior design. The closed front ring is equipped with a black decorative panel, with a Yuan mid-slip that shows the identity of the model.
The front lights are made more elongated on both sides to smooth blend with the front grip, creating a layered impression. The front bumper adds a dynamic impression on the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the side profile has a dynamical design with a hidden door handle, which is currently popular on electric vehicles (EVs) today. The addition of a black decorative panel and chrome elements at the bottom increase the off-road atmosphere and add three dimensions to the side profile.
The back is equipped with elongated lights, with a large diffuser, adding to the overall smooth design impression and decorated with the BYD logo.
Then, this car is provided with the same two electric motor options as the Dolphin model with a magnitude of 70 kW and more than 130 kW, which can produce the highest speed of up to 160 km/hour.
According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology China (MIIT), Yuan UP will be available in two travel distance options, namely 301 km and 401 km.
