Jumping From A 20-meter High Waterfall, Tourist Dies In Minnehaha
JAKARTA - A tourist died after jumping from a height of 20 meters of Minnehaha waterfall, Katoomba, Australia.
The incident occurred at around 13.30 on Monday, January 22 local time.
The tourist initially suffered serious injuries receiving treatment at the scene after jumping from the waterfall.
However, not yet an ambulance helicopter and the police came to the scene, the tourist breathed his last.
The body of the male tourist has not yet been identified. Medical officers and police are currently handling the incident.
According to a News.com.au report, Minnehaha waterfall is one of the favorite destinations in Katoomba.
The slippery rock path is a challenge for tourists to climb to the top of the waterfall.
A number of other travelers even reminded that those interested in jumping from the Minnehaha waterfall should wear hiking shoes.
