SURABAYA - The man with the initials E (43), one of the suspects in the sexual abuse case in his 13-year-old biological son, admitted that he only found out that his son and brother had participated in molesting the victim. The perpetrator, who is also the victim's biological father, admitted that he made a mistake because he thought the victim was his wife.

"I usually sleep with my wife and children. I think (the child) is my wife, I made a mistake, mas," said E, at the Surabaya Police Headquarters, Monday, January 22.

E repeatedly denied that he had molested his biological child. He said, as long as he only sexually abused his child since the 5th grade B grade elementary school victim.

"I started in fifth grade, but I just took the victim's body part, ed)," he said.

E claims not to know that his son, who is the victim's older brother, apparently raped him. Even with two of the victim's uncles, E admitted that he only found out about the barbaric act.

"I don't know, I'm ashamed, angry (to the suspects)," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Surabaya Police, AKBP Hendro Sukmono, said that the four suspects were aware of the sexual abuse and harassment of victim B. However, they did not discuss each other when they met.

"It was not done together, the perpetrators knew each other. But they did not discuss each other (the silence)," he said.

The police have named four suspects in connection with the sexual abuse case against B, 13. The suspects are the victim's father with the initials E, 43, brother A, 17, and two uncles with the initials R, 49, and I, 43.

The depraved actions of the suspects were last known in January 2024. The family who knew about it, then immediately reported it to the Surabaya Police on January 5, 2024.

The initial report was obscenity, after the post-mortem, it turned out that the victim had abrasions on the genitals.

As a result of his actions, the four perpetrators are now charged with Article 81 and/or 82 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning sexual intercourse and/or child molestation.
