President Jokowi Provides CBP Food Assistance In Temanggung

TEMANGGUNG - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) provided government rice reserves (CBP) food assistance to 1,000 residents in Temanggung Regency, Central Java.

"Ini sudah terima semua yang 10 kilogram, penerima ini mulai Januari 2024 atau sejak September 2023," kata Jokowi saat meninjau gudang Bulog di Kabupaten Temanggung dilansir ANTARA, Senin, 22 Januari.

The President said that the assistance for the January 2024 period was additional assistance. The government has started distributing this aid from September, October, November, and December 2023.

"This is just everything, later we will get assistance in January, February, March, followed by April, we can get it, and June too," he said.

"I left at dawn at 04.45 WIB from the State Palace to Halim then to Solo, then to Salatiga, to Magelang, and to Temanggung, later still to Wonosobo," he said.

From Wonosobo, Jokowi spent the night in Salatiga.

"Every day I am like that from Aceh to Papua, we must be aware that this country is a very large country, we have 38 provinces now, consisting of 515 cities/districts and 17,000 islands," he said.

President Jokowi said that none of the countries in the world have as many islands as Indonesia.

"All islands need a port, they need roads, because there are residents there. They need a school, they need a hospital, a health center. The island needs a bit of an airport," he said.
