South LAMPUNG - presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo criticized the damaged road in Palas District, South Lampung Regency, while visiting the Roudlotussolihin Islamic boarding school.

"Mrs., this is strange that the road is damaged, really, applause," said Ganjar Pranowo during his remarks at the Roudlotussolihin Islamic boarding school as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 22.

Ganjar promised to propose to repair the road in Palas District, so that the mobility of the local community can run smoothly as usual.

"Just wait, it will be fought for later, here there is the DPRD," he said.

Meanwhile, one of the residents, Mujiati, also said that all local residents had complained about the damaged road.

"The important thing is that it is best for remote villages like in Palas, yes, the hope is that it will be repaired soon," said Mujiati.

According to Mujiati, the road has been damaged for years, so far there has been no road repair.

"It's been a long time, sir, this road is damaged, I just forgot when the road was last repaired," he said.

Then Selfia, a resident of Palas District, also said that the road should be repaired immediately because the road has not been repaired for years.

"There have been five years the road has not been repaired, if the rainy season of the road is very slippery and the hole is filled with water so that it often causes accidents," said Selfia.

Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo visited the Roudlotussolihin Islamic Boarding School in Palas District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung, Monday.

The visit was in the context of holding the istighojah prayer with the students and the community for the victory of Ganjar-Mahfud as president of Indonesia.
