Quoting The Song Ebiet G Ade, Mahfud MD Promises To Restore Damaged Nature And Oceans

JAKARTA - Candidate for Vice President number 3, Mahfud MD promised to repair natural damage if he and Candidate President Ganjar Pranowo get the opportunity to lead the Republic of Indonesia in the next 5 years.

Citing the song Ebit G Ade Berita Tolpa Kawan, he called this evidence of a lot of damage to nature and the environment that occurred in Indonesia.

"I remember the song Ebit G Ade, "Maybe the time there was an answer, why did a disaster occur in my land. Maybe God is getting tired of seeing our behavior, which is always wrong and proud of our sins, and so on, that is proof of environmental damage," Mahfud said in his closing statement at the Vice Presidential Candidate debate which was broadcast live on the YouTube channel, Sunday, January 21.

For this reason, Mahfud also promised to gradually restore the damaged nature and environment.

"We will bill the international community to collect the debts of the damage," said Mahfud.

He also highlighted the legal sword in Indonesia which is considered still pushed up and even sharp downwards. If the law is not blunt, he said, he and Ganjar will thoroughly oversee the development program so that it can run well.

In his statement, Mahfud also addressed apologies to women and children who are often victims of environmental and natural damage.

"Mas Ganjar and I apologize to the mothers and grandchildren who were involved or without doing anything during the destruction of nature, whose mothers and grandchildren are inhabited," concluded Mahfud.
